Thank you for responding to the need to reach boys and girls with the Gospel and to make the name of Jesus Christ known to the little ones!

In today’s society child abuse and child accusations are occurring daily.  It is important that Child Evangelism Fellowship take steps to protect the children to whom we minister and protect our workers from false accusations.

In accordance with the Child Protection Policy of Child Evangelism Fellowship, Inc. all volunteers and paid workers are required to undergo a national criminal background check and complete a volunteer application process.

NEW VOLUNTEER
 

  1. ​Read our Statement of Faith (SOF) & Sign the Workers Compliance Agreement (WCA) You will be able to sign these when completing the online background check.
     

  2. Read our Child Protection Policy v 6.0
     

  3. Watch our 12-minute Protecting Today’s Child presentation or listen at 1-866-878-4182
     

  4. Complete the Online Background Screening Form
     

  5. Your local CEF office will contact you for an interview and ID confirmation.

RETURNING VOLUNTEERS 5-YEAR RE-SCREEN

RETURNING VOLUNTEERS (Active within the last year but do not need 5-Year rescreen)
 

Thank you so much for your participation in children’s ministry. Following are the requirements for returning volunteers that have been active in the last year and are not scheduled for a five-year re-screening.
 

  1. Watch or listen to the Protecting Today’s Child  presentation.
     

  2. Read the Worker’s Compliance Agreement.
     

  3. Sign the Worker’s Compliance Agreement below.

*Please note.  All individuals 14 and over are required to complete the process.  Your fee will be paid by CEF.  Gather all pertinent information before beginning:  1) Your Salvation Testimony, 2) Reference Contact Information (name, phone, email).  Include your pastor, previous employeer and 2 personal references, 3) Previous addresses (last 5 years), 4) Driver's license and SS number. You will also need a valid email. (If you don't have one type in email@email.com.)  It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You must complete the application within 40 minutes.
